Show & Tell

They say sharing is caring, right? Well I must care a lot about you guys because I have a couple of things to share with you all today. :)

First thing I'd like share is a few pictures of some awesome new earphones I got the other day. These earphones are a perfect way to combine two of my favorite things: fashion and music.

You guys know I just LOVE the leopard print and the pink!

You know it has to be chic, when fashion is in the name of it!

Here are the details on the back of the box. I got these earphones from Walmart, but you can purchase them here(they are the Leopard Kensington ones). Also, if you want to view all of the earphones in the lovely Fashionation-The MacBeth Collection, you can check them out here.

Here's a more up close look of these stylish headphones(and of one of my nails too!).

The other thing I wanted to show you all is a couple of pictures that I took before my 8th grade formal dance, that was back in June.

First, here's a pic of my dress; it's practically perfect! It's pink, has sequins and jewels at the top, and the skirt is poofy.

I loved wearing this dress, I felt like such a princess! Plus, I had an amazing time that night! :) Dress- Shingar(a store in one of the local malls), Shoes- Payless, Earrings and Bracelets- Walmart

Haul: Black Friday Buys- Part 1

If any of you are from the U.S. you know that, almost a month ago,Thanksgiving passed, and, of course, so did the day that all shoppers dream of: Black Friday. Like almost every other person in America, I went out shopping that night/morning, and I got a good amount of things. I made purchases from Macy's, JCPenney, XXI(Forever 21), and American Eagle.

Since I made quite a few buys, there are quite a few pictures to show, so I decided to split this up into two posts. Today, I am showing you all my purchases from Macy's, JCPenney, and American Eagle.

Macy's:
At Macy's I actually only bought one thing. It was this really chic hoodie that I found. Now this hoodie is not just your regular, plain-old hoodie, it's actually quite fashionable, cute, and even girly, and that's why I like it so much! I think it would be perfect to wear in the spring with a cute dress! It is cropped, and the hood has nice lace-like detailing, and one of my favorite things about it, is how the sleeves have almost a harem pants type of feel, because of the way the way it's baggy and then tightened at the wrist.

Baggy-sleeve action going on here :)

JCPenney:
At JCPenney I purchased a few cute things. I bought two shirts, a headband with a big sequined bow on it, and two little hair accessory sets. Altogether, I feel like I got nice pieces that are still unique and fun.

A plaid button-up is classic, and is essential to any wardrobe, but this one has bright colors, which gives it a fun twist.

I just love this tie-front top. It can take any outfit and add a little bit of a feminine flair.

Please excuse the spotty mirror, and by the way, the shirt is actually more gray and indigo-violet colored versus the white and gray colors that it seems to be in these pictures.

Little hair clips and bows, and other things of that nature, are always a perfect touch to an outfit, and these pieces are extra cute!

I love, Love, LOOVVEEE this headband! It's the perfect combination of girly and glam, and it has a slight touch of elegance. Plus, does anyone see those sequins?! :)

American Eagle:
I like to shop at American Eagle to find nice, simple pieces, that have some sort of special, cute thing about them. While there I ended up getting a pretty pullover, and a nice little skirt.

This shirt is soo comfy, and I love the colors in it!
P.S- You can buy it here on American Eagle's website.

This skirt is so cute! In this pic, you get to see the nice little details.

Thanks, everybody, for reading today! Come back soon for part 2 of this post, with all of my Forever 21 purchases! :)

Hippe Shades: Peace, Love, and Tacky??? :)

As you guys know(from my last post), I went out of town(well, actually, I went out of state) this past weekend. I went to South Carolina, so naturally, I had to make a stop at South of the Border. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's basically just a little tourist stop off of interstate 95 that is at the border of North Carolina and South Carolina, and there's just a bunch of little gift shops and restaurants, and stuff like that. If you want more info on it, you can click here.

So anyway, while there, I we decided to stop at one of the little shops(it was called Pantry or something like that) and get some souvenirs. We looked around a bit and I ended up getting these pair of hippie shades, that have the peace signs across the frames. To be honest, I guess it's basically just a tacky tourist item, but being the girl I am, I couldn't resist getting them(especially when they only cost $3.50!) . Plus, I'm pretty sure that if I paired them with the right outfit, I could totally make a huge fashion statement(well, maybe)!

So anyway, here's a few pics of my new sunglasses, hope you like them :)

Oh, and just so you know, I didn't wear the glasses with the outfit I have on the pics, it's just what I was wearing at the time.

Sunglasses- $3.50, The Feeling I Got From Buying Them- Priceless :)

It's really weird that they sunshades actually look good on me. Usually circular sunglasses don't look good on my face.

If you're a hippie, and you're happy, clap your hands! *clap, clap* :)

Close-up time!

I love the teal color at the top of the shades!

I like the way they look on top of my head too :)

American Eagle(My Way of Showing American Pride ;D)

Today, I experienced something very new. I actually purchased something online. I had this American Eagle gift-card for $30 that I'd had for a while, so I decided to use it online. Boy, was I in luck, since it's Independence Day(well technically, not anymore, but when I was e-shopping it still was), they had free shipping and you get 20% off, if you used the code that they put on the main page.

So I guess by now you guys are curious to see what I got. The first thing, was a summer sweater. I had been wanting one ever since I had made the post about them. Although this may not be the "perfect" summer sweater, it seems like a great choice. And plus, it was such a great deal they had going on today, so I couldn't pass up my chance.

AE Dolman Sweater in Chalk
This cute summer sweater is in the clearance section of American Eagle so it was already on sale from $44.50 to $29.95, but with the 20% off discount I got it for $23.96. Now of course, being the girl I am, I had to find something to get with the money I had left over on the gift-card. I ended up finding a cute scarf, that will be a great accessory year-round.

AEO Tasseled Plaid Scarf in Green

This scarf was originally $24.50, but I snagged it in the "Under $10" part of the clearance section, so it was only $6.99, and of course, there was the 20% off, so it actually only cost $5.59.

My total, came to $29.55. Since shipping was free, the only thing left to worry about was the tax, which ended up being $1.48 for my whole order. Since the end total, $31.03, was slightly larger than the amount on my gift-card, I paid for the rest on my regular prepaid card. The overall experience was great, and because of that I will probably shop online more often.

AE makes online shopping very simple and easy, plus it's user-friendly. I just hope that the items I ordered are just as fabulous.

P.S.-Happy Belated Independence Day! :D
