Show & Tell

They say sharing is caring, right? Well I must care a lot about you guys because I have a couple of things to share with you all today. :)

First thing I'd like share is a few pictures of some awesome new earphones I got the other day. These earphones are a perfect way to combine two of my favorite things: fashion and music.

You guys know I just LOVE the leopard print and the pink!

You know it has to be chic, when fashion is in the name of it!

Here are the details on the back of the box. I got these earphones from Walmart, but you can purchase them here(they are the Leopard Kensington ones). Also, if you want to view all of the earphones in the lovely Fashionation-The MacBeth Collection, you can check them out here.

Here's a more up close look of these stylish headphones(and of one of my nails too!).

The other thing I wanted to show you all is a couple of pictures that I took before my 8th grade formal dance, that was back in June.

First, here's a pic of my dress; it's practically perfect! It's pink, has sequins and jewels at the top, and the skirt is poofy.

I loved wearing this dress, I felt like such a princess! Plus, I had an amazing time that night! :) Dress- Shingar(a store in one of the local malls), Shoes- Payless, Earrings and Bracelets- Walmart

Ways to Wear: Printed Shorts

Hi there blogosphere! One of the major trends of this summer is shorts. Not just any kind of shorts though, printed shorts, and really more along the lines of interesting shorts in general. There are spiked shorts, leather shorts, glitter shorts, striped shorts, etc. To me it just seems like fashion decided that, "Hey! Why should shirts have all the fun?!" and I totally agree with that! Printed shorts can bring some excitement to a summer wardrobe, and definitely spice it up from the usual plain jean shorts. One thing I must say though, is that pulling off printed shorts can be difficult; with the more complex the print is, usually the harder it is to find something to wear with it. But have no fear my friend, this is where I come in to help! :) Today I decided to put together a set with six different looks utilizing the printed shorts trend. I hope this gives you inspiration to try this trend out on your own!

Long Time, No See & Cold-Weather Accessories (Ways to Wear/My Obsessions Post)

Hi guys, I know it's been forever and a day(which equates to seven months) since I've last posted, but I am finally here again! Man how I have missed blogging, and it feels good to be back! How have you guys been?? This feels so much like one of those moments when you're in the grocery store and you see an old friend that you haven't talked to in ages. :)

Well anyway, enough with the chit-chat. Today's post is about something I would like to consider myself somewhat of an expert on, or at least an educated fan of: scarves. I love scarves and I feel like they can be some of the greatest accessories to add to almost any outfit! And with so many different colors and patterns, scarves are a sure way to express yourself and add a personal touch. Scarves can add a pop of interesting to a bland outfit or be the item to bring the whole outfit together.

A lot of people consider scarves to be a cold-weather accessory, but that my friend, is where they are mistaken! For me scarves aren't something you just throw-on when your neck might be a little chilly, they're something you can where ANYTIME, including in the summer! The trick is to make sure to wear a light-weight scarf so that your chic outfit addition is not making you anymore sweaty than need-be. Another trick for rocking a scarf in the heat is all in the way you wear it. Trust me, if your neck looks like it's being choked by fabric. . .then it probably is! Instead, the scarf should be worn in a way that drapes the clothing nicely, and doesn't have so much of a snug vibe to it.

I thought it be nice to do a little show-and-tell now, so here's a quick snapshot of my collection of scarves. :)

Yup, there's 13 of them now, and I'm going to keep on adding more! :)

To get everyone started(if you are new to the whole summer scarf idea) here is a set of some more scarves, that I love, and would be perfect to wear, even in the summer's heat! Also, further down below I've chosen three of those scarves and put outfits together with them, to give you some ideas on how to rock this type of look. :)

Haul: Black Friday Buys- Part 1

If any of you are from the U.S. you know that, almost a month ago,Thanksgiving passed, and, of course, so did the day that all shoppers dream of: Black Friday. Like almost every other person in America, I went out shopping that night/morning, and I got a good amount of things. I made purchases from Macy's, JCPenney, XXI(Forever 21), and American Eagle.

Since I made quite a few buys, there are quite a few pictures to show, so I decided to split this up into two posts. Today, I am showing you all my purchases from Macy's, JCPenney, and American Eagle.

Macy's:
At Macy's I actually only bought one thing. It was this really chic hoodie that I found. Now this hoodie is not just your regular, plain-old hoodie, it's actually quite fashionable, cute, and even girly, and that's why I like it so much! I think it would be perfect to wear in the spring with a cute dress! It is cropped, and the hood has nice lace-like detailing, and one of my favorite things about it, is how the sleeves have almost a harem pants type of feel, because of the way the way it's baggy and then tightened at the wrist.

Baggy-sleeve action going on here :)

JCPenney:
At JCPenney I purchased a few cute things. I bought two shirts, a headband with a big sequined bow on it, and two little hair accessory sets. Altogether, I feel like I got nice pieces that are still unique and fun.

A plaid button-up is classic, and is essential to any wardrobe, but this one has bright colors, which gives it a fun twist.

I just love this tie-front top. It can take any outfit and add a little bit of a feminine flair.

Please excuse the spotty mirror, and by the way, the shirt is actually more gray and indigo-violet colored versus the white and gray colors that it seems to be in these pictures.

Little hair clips and bows, and other things of that nature, are always a perfect touch to an outfit, and these pieces are extra cute!

I love, Love, LOOVVEEE this headband! It's the perfect combination of girly and glam, and it has a slight touch of elegance. Plus, does anyone see those sequins?! :)

American Eagle:
I like to shop at American Eagle to find nice, simple pieces, that have some sort of special, cute thing about them. While there I ended up getting a pretty pullover, and a nice little skirt.

This shirt is soo comfy, and I love the colors in it!
P.S- You can buy it here on American Eagle's website.

This skirt is so cute! In this pic, you get to see the nice little details.

Thanks, everybody, for reading today! Come back soon for part 2 of this post, with all of my Forever 21 purchases! :)
